Two weekends ago I spent hours making a video of Judah’s first year. It probably shouldn’t have taken so long, but that’s what inexperience combined with perfectionism will do to you. (Choosing the music was the hardest part… but I’m so glad I kept going until finding the “just right” soundtrack!)
I’m absolutely thrilled to have all of my favorite photos of him in one place. I know that one day he’ll have so much fun watching this too. I hope he’ll be able to feel how incredibly loved he is, even as he watches all these fleeting moments frozen in time.
For all of you who know Judah, me, or my family online or in person, I wanted to share this with you as well. Thank you for carrying us in your hearts and loving us the way you do, especially through my difficult pregnancy and birth. His first year has been amazing and we are stunned at how quickly he’s hit all his milestones. His life is a precious gift to us and he’s given us so very much to give thanks for.
So here it is – a little tribute to a boy who’s an absolute game-changer. Hope you enjoy.

i got to work with booker for 1.5 years at rto and never had a doubt that he’d be a great dad one day. so happy to see these pictures of your life together as a family!

This video had me tearing up; Judah is such a little boy now! It definitely got me excited for what Jeremy and I have to look forward to in the next few months. What a wonderful tribute to a sweet and awesome boy. Happy birthday Judah, may you continue to grow in light and love!
