2|52: seed
Not long ago my husband was inspired to build and plant an herb garden, as well as transplant a few other neglected side-of-the-house plants.
He is now the unofficial Chief Gardener of the family… and has appointed Levi as his Deputy.
Deputy Levi loves to help those little seeds grow.
He waters, he looks, he points, he smiles.
And then he waters some more.
The herbs have sprouted.
My “baby” has sprouted too.
Little seed is not so little any more.
He does grown-up things these days…
…like helping to make things grow.
Dear friends, does anyone else have children that are sprouting like craaaazy right now?

14 January 2012 at 3:24 amWonderful shots to capture the growth of your little seed as he tends to his little seeds. My oldest seed is 11 and going on his first weekend ski trip with Boy Scouts this weekend. I can’t believe how fast this time has gone. My littlest seed is 4 and it seems like just yesterday she was a baby.

14 January 2012 at 7:11 amI looked up the other day and realized my almost-one-year-old is not a baby anymore. Such a weird string of emotions to be happy and sad at the same time!
Adorable pictures!

14 January 2012 at 9:47 amSo adorable and such a good helper! My little seed is 4 and has always grown like a weed. He amazed me last week with all he can now do at the playground. My cautious little toddler is completely gone!

14 January 2012 at 8:55 pmThat’s so beautiful! Xave likes to water the plants on Grandma’s verandha too. Now he comes inside and points to the water jug when he wants to water those (poor) plants. Ryan has done a wonderful job with your herbs and plants — going to try vege gardening next year? Levi would love picking strawberries I bet.

15 January 2012 at 8:20 pmIt’s bittersweet watching them grow so fast, isn’t it? I don’t know what you guys would do with that garden if he wasn’t around. He’s clearly taking care of everything. 😉 Thanks for linking up again this week!

16 January 2012 at 2:13 amAll of your shots are lovely! And in response to your question? Yes!!! My little ones are sprouting like crazy. It’s amazing how even pictures taken last month seem so long ago as measured by how big both my girls have gotten. It’s amazing.

20 January 2012 at 8:31 pmMmmm, aren’t you glad we have digital cameras now to snap, snap, snap away? They DO grow so fast… but it helps to capture it!

16 January 2012 at 1:07 pmoooo what a fantastic planter box! I love that it is so colorful! And what on earth is cuter than a little one with a watering can. I need to buy one for D this summer because she loved to help me water too. SO sweet and your pictures are priceless! I have to say that your little man is def. looking bigger these days. Your pictures are totally reminding me of Kelly’s from Enjoying the Small Things (whose blog I love):) Just thought you should know!
