toofers and noonles

Milestones.

Don’t they come hard and fast during these early years?

Judah’s recently started eating… pears.

And he got his first two teeth while Daddy was away.

Of course you can’t really see them in this photo. But you can see my fingers shoved up into his mouth. (What a good sport he was.) Thanks to mama he looks more like a walrus than a baby with wee little toofers.

And this kid?

He’s smack dab in the middle of having that “language explosion” that parents and experts speak of. Oh, it’s fun! All of a sudden it’s three and four word sentences, regularly.

Our favorite new word at the moment is “noonles”. We’re trying to serve them as often as possible just so we can hear the word… noonles.

I’m loving these littles. So much.

Dear friends, what milestones have you been enjoying lately?
